Manager of Partner Trade

The Manager of Partner Trade is responsible for the overall performance and expansion of Velocity's Partner Trade Department (PTD), including the direct or indirect management and training of Partner Trade Sales Reps (PTSR) and Partner Trade Sales Associates (PTSA); communicate with suppliers and customers to create demand for the Company's products and services by applying market and product expertise; maximizing the opportunities created by the Company's strategic relationship with an industry leading global franchised distributor, as well as other opportunities created by its alliances in the electronic components distribution and OEM/EMS markets; managing the Velocity PTD Inspection Program for its industry-leading global franchised distribution partner; responsible for managing, developing and implementing the Inventory Exchange Program (IEP) at select partnered customers; responsible for sales and product marketing leadership; implementing sales and marketing strategies in order to drive profitable sales and provide superior service to all customers; responsible for delivering a monthly and quarterly gross profit sales goal while adhering to the Company's quality policy and system procedures.

Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field, plus 4 years of relevant experience, to include industry experience in : (1) electronic component distribution market; (2) electronic OEM/EMS marketplace; (3) electronic component products; (4) sales, marketing, logistics & inventory control issues; and (5) management experience in the electronic component distribution market. Alternatively, 6 years of relevant experience, to include industry experience in: (1) electronic component distribution market; (2) electronic OEM/EMS marketplace; (3) electronic component products; (4) sales, marketing, logistics & inventory control issues; and (5) management experience in the electronic component distribution market.
